Microsoft Campus Agreement

The software listed below is made available to you because Arkansas State University has purchased the Microsoft Campus Agreement effective 7/1/2007 through 7/31/2008. Arkansas State University is extending to you the right to use the software for school-related purposes at home on a personally owned computer. You do not own the license or the software, rather you are leasing the license and software from Arkansas State University for the term of the Campus Agreement. You will be required to remove the software from your home/personally owned machine if the Campus Agreement is not renewed by Arkansas State University, or if you leave the University. You are not licensed to use the software for personal purposes.

I agree to abide by the following terms and conditions of the Campus Agreement:

·         I have read and will abide by the license agreements associated with use of this software. Copies of the Campus Agreement and Microsoft License Agreement are published on the campus web site at:   http://apps.astate.edu/campusagree/policy.htm

·         I understand that if Arkansas State University does not renew this agreement, then I must delete or remove the software licensed under this agreement from my computer at the time the agreement expires or is terminated.

·         I understand that if I leave the university I must remove the software from my home/personally owned computer.

·         I understand that I am licensed to use the software for school-related purposes.

·         I understand that no technical support to assist me in installing or using this software on my home/personally owned computer will be provided by ASU or Microsoft personnel.

·         I am aware of the minimum recommended hardware specifications to run the software as indicated below. I also understand that these minimum recommended specifications do not take into account all of the possible ways in which the hardware and software I use on my computer may interact, and that these recommendations may not be adequate in all circumstances.

·         I understand that I am leasing the license and software from Arkansas State University.

Symantec Campus Agreement

Symantec AntiVirus is provided through the Symantec Campus Agreement. Arkansas State University is extending to you the right to use the software for school-related purposes at home on a personally owned computer. You do not own the license or the software, rather you are leasing the license and software from Arkansas State University for the term of the Campus Agreement. You will be required to remove the software from your home/personally owned machine if you leave the University. You are not licensed to use the software for personal purposes.
